Looking for things to do in Beaumont and the San Gorgonio Pass on Halloween weekend? Saturday, October 31 is the big night: the City of Beaumont hosts its free Trunk or Treat at Beaumont Sports Park (5:00-8:00 PM) and Calimesa holds its annual Trunk or Treat at Summerwind Park (5:30-7:30 PM), both family-friendly, candy-filled community traditions just a few minutes apart. The Beaumont Farmers Market runs Saturday morning at 6525 College Street, Teresa Cheung brings her Crossed Paths world tour to the Morongo Events Center on Sunday, November 1, and Oak Glen apple picking keeps going through Thanksgiving. It is also the start of Día de los Muertos, with Banning's month-long Día de los Muertos Pumpkin Patch still running and Beaumont's third annual community celebration coming up the following Saturday, November 7. Here is a friendly, family-first look at the weekend ahead, plus a quick RED Friday reminder and a gentle note that event details can change, so always confirm with the organizers.
Today is R.E.D. Friday
It's Friday, October 30, which means it's R.E.D. Friday: wear red and Remember Everyone Deployed. A simple red shirt, hat, or ribbon is a visible way to honor the men and women serving overseas and the families waiting for them here at home.

Around the Pass this weekend
A couple of other favorites are happening around the San Gorgonio Pass area this weekend, each one a nice excuse to get out and soak up the season.
Día de los Muertos · Banning's Pumpkin Patch
Banning's month-long Día de los Muertos Pumpkin Patch keeps the family fun going through the end of October with inflatables, rides, a petting zoo, and food vendors. It is the traditional start of Día de los Muertos (October 31 through November 2), and Beaumont's third annual community celebration follows the next Saturday, November 7, at the Chatigny Community Recreation Center (1:00-5:00 PM) with mariachi music, altars, crafts, a Catrín/Catrina costume contest, and a new community pet ofrenda.
Teresa Cheung at Morongo · Sunday
Morongo Casino Resort & Spa's fall concert series continues Sunday, November 1 with Teresa Cheung and her Crossed Paths world tour at the Events Center, just 10 minutes west on I-10. The season keeps rolling into November with Edgardo Nuñez (Nov 6-7), The Isley Brothers (Nov 7), and comedian Rob Schneider (Nov 20). Shows are 21+; check morongocasinoresort.com for tickets before heading out.
Oak Glen Apple Season · Through November
U-pick apple season at the historic orchards of Oak Glen (25 minutes north on Highway 38) runs from Labor Day through Thanksgiving, with fresh-pressed cider, cider doughnuts, mountain color, and the Apple Butter Festival in late November. A classic Southern California autumn outing for the whole family.
Lavender Nights wraps · Christmas Nights ahead
Lavender Nights at 123 Farm in Cherry Valley wrapped up its 2026 season on October 25 after two magical months of lights in the fields. But the farm isn't done: Christmas Nights at 123 Farm opens November 5 and runs through January 3 with festive lights, seasonal music, and holiday treats (advance tickets required, no door sales).
Also this weekend: the Calimesa Farmers & Community Market returns Wednesday, November 25 (4-9 PM at 1055 Calimesa Blvd), and the Banning Farmers Market runs Saturday evenings at 53 N San Gorgonio Ave.
Plan ahead: Election Day is Tuesday, November 3
Three days after Halloween, the Pass Area heads to the polls. Banning voters decide Measures U, V, and W, which would repeal the City Council's approval of the 533-acre Sunset Crossroads Specific Plan, while Beaumont Unified seeks approval of the $86 million Measure B school bond to fix aging schools and replace portable classrooms without raising tax rates. Find polling places and sample ballots through Riverside County.
And mark the calendar a little further out: Christmas Nights at 123 Farm opens November 5 and runs through January 3 (advance tickets required, no door sales), Veterans Day ceremonies and Beaumont's new Veterans Parade arrive on Wednesday, November 11, and the San Gorgonio Pass Historical Society's annual Honoring Local Military Veterans gathering follows on Thursday, November 12 (7:00 PM) at the Cherry Valley Grange Community Center.

From Sam Silver
The night the Pass Area glows
Halloween is one of those nights when you really feel the Pass Area's small-town heart. Kids in costumes filling the parks, neighbors handing out candy from decorated trunks, pumpkins on every porch, and that crisp October air under a big desert sky. It is the kind of community warmth that made me want to live here, and it is exactly why I started Beaumont Life.
Whether you're trick-or-treating in Beaumont or Calimesa, apple picking in Oak Glen, or catching a concert at Morongo, enjoy every minute. And if you're ever thinking about buying or selling a home in the Pass Area, I'd be honored to help you find your spot in this community.
